Pioneer Park, at the Southernmost tip of Point Frederick must surely be one of the most picturesque spots on the Central Coast.               With ample parking and no through traffic it affords pleasant strolls, peace and quiet and 300 degree water views from Green Point to Woy Woy and around to Point Clare.                  Originally the site of Gosford's first cemetery (and resting place of T A Scott) it had largely fallen into disrepair by the early 1970's when through persistant lobbying Gosford Rotary stalwarts Jim Kirkness and Malcolm Brooks had the site deconsecrated and declared a park.
The Rotary Club of Gosford continues it's association with Pioneer Park to this very day when in partnership with a very helpful Central Coast Council we have installed 2 picnic tables for the use of the entire community.            Plans are afoot to further service the park with an all weather BBQ facility.

See pictures of the picnic tables in our photo gallery, or better still take the family to Pioneer Park and see for yourself.
