Celebrating 100 years of the Rotary Foundation

The Rotary Foundation serves as a collective body where funds come in from all rotary clubs around the world and then forms a formidable collective fund, able to support projects too big for any one club to undertake.      But it doesn't end there.

It also serves to distribute funds back on a local basis, not just a global basis and there are many local entities and community service projects in this district which have received such beneficence.

       Gosford Rotary has many such projects to which it can indicate support from the foundation, including projects in Africa, PNG  and locally our waterfront  shelters project and the Scince and Engineering Challenge....and thats just in the last few years.

     We join Terrigal and Erina Rotary at the Breakers Country Club to celebrate 100 years of a great idea.
